Meet the new businesses who have joined the Ultima family
Sometimes the smartest approach is to go where others don’t. This was the thinking that drove us to acquire The AntiSocial Engineer and Just After Midnight.
Both companies could be seen as unusual bedfellows for a traditional IT company. But we’re all for breaking with tradition when it sharpens our focus and helps us better support our customers in our core areas of cloud, digital workspace and information security.
Let’s take a look at our two newest family members.
The social engineering security specialist
Our most recent acquisition, The AntiSocial Engineer helps organisations to protect themselves against cyber-attacks, using a blend of online security training and unique auditing services. These capabilities help businesses to strengthen their defences against the growing menace of advanced online attacks and ‘human hacking’ perpetrated by malicious social engineers.
This acquisition will strengthen our security offer, with an innovative approach to testing vulnerabilities, fixing issues and educating our customers about safer and more security-aware ways of operating. These skills complement our existing security expertise, and will help our clients to safely increase their speed of innovation while reducing their vulnerability to cybercrime.
Expert cloud services and support
Last year saw another strategic acquisition: global cloud services provider Just After Midnight (JAM). As a support specialist for digital businesses, JAM has added a new cloud and applications services division to the Ultima fold, with support and services capabilities based in London, Australia, Singapore and the USA.
JAM strengthens Ultima’s ability to offer customers a seamless follow-the-sun cloud service around the world.
By blending JAM’s expertise in support and consulting with Ultima’s existing managed services and AI-Cloud automation management platforms, we’re now able to offer a complete global solution for businesses that want to build and manage their hybrid cloud infrastructure and applications.
